D.O.A. Ghost
By M. Garzon

My father is a physician who was moonlighting in the ER in a small hospital in Chicago back in the 70's. He was reading in his call room located in a hallway outside the Emergency room when an old man opened the door. He looked pale and sick. He told my dad that he was going to die soon. My father immediately try to call for help and rushed out to the ER to get a wheelchair or a cart to bring the old man into the Emergency room for evaluation. At that instant an ambulance arrived with a covered gurnee. The paramedics informed my father that the patient was DOA which means dead on arrival. My father took a look at the dead patient on the cart and it was the old man! He immediatly fainted from the shock. When he came to again, he told what them had happened. The staff searched for the old man in the call room and ER but did not find him. My dad affirmed again that the DOA was indeed the old man from the call room. Needless to say, my father went home early that evening.
Ghost Face
By Angie

One time, while sleeping over at a friend's house, we were sitting around in her living room watching TV on her tiny TV, as her plasma was broken (i don't know exactly what was wrong with it). We were talking about ghost encounters and such and the strangest thing happened. A face appeared in her plasma screen TV. It was blue-ish, and the face was first of a man that we had never seen before, and then it morphed, and became that of our friend Savannah. This freaked us both out, but luckily, Savannah is still alive and well... For now.

A Sign From Beyond

By C Shapiro

When I was home babysitting my 1 year old niece. She could not talk other than "Ma" of "Da", She and I were alone in our huge house sitting at the fireplace, she facing toward the kitchen and I was facing the other direction. I looked at her and noticed her eyes trailing as if she was watching something go by above my head and she waved at this thing. I looked and there was nothing there. So, I took her into the kitchen...sat her on the chair and went to the phone, my back to her but for just a sec and I hear, "Auntie, will you please help me get up?" I turned to find her sitting on the floor and I looked at her and said, "Mimi? When did you learn how to talk?" She of course just looked at me because she couldn't talk and I put her back up into the chair and went about feeding her. It was strange. We then went into my father's room...my mother had passed on some 15 years prior and sitting there on the bed I again see her look up, her eyes again trailing from left to right and again, wave to something I was unable to see as if she were either saying hello or good-bye. B y this time I was a bit freaked.

My father and sister came home not long afterwards and I told my sister (her mom) what had happened and my s ister immediately started to cry. I asked her why she was crying and she said that she had been talking to my mother in prayer from that morning asking for any kind of sign that she might still be around and felt very much so that with that experience, she got her sign. Weird thing is...we took out the photographs and my niece immediately pointed to a picture of my mother (her grandmother who had passed on) and immediately pointed to a picture of my mother when she was thirty and out of the blue...kid you not said, "Hi Grandma!" Mind you, my niece had the vocabulary of a one year old. Not only did she see something but she clearly asked me to help her up in audible adult language and then pointed out my mother whom she had never seen before and said, "Hi grandma." I cried all the way home and thanked God for giving us such a beautiful moment.
A Message For Lee Lee
By A Tenor

My father passed away two years ago. At the time I had a very old BMW that had a tachometer that would spaz out all the time. I mean, the thing would just go haywire back and forth and back and forth and the night of his funeral (a gathering of friends) we stopped, my boyfriend and I stopped at 7-11 for a moment. He left the car running and of course the tachometer was all over the place. Just for fun I said, "Daddy, if you are anywhere around you will make this tachometer go to zero" and don't you know that the moment I said that the tachometer went directly to zero and there it stayed.

My boyfriend got back in the car and apparently had been observing me from inside the store and saw the look on my face and asked me why I looked so puzzled. I explained and from there on every time the tachometer would do its weird thing we would ask my dad if he would put it to zero and every single time, without fail, the tachometer would go to zero.

Okay, so that was a bit bizarre but the weirder thing is...we were driving with my the 6 year old step daughter one afternoon and the tachometer was all over the place as usual...my little one said, "Daddy, there is a man in that thing there (and she pointed straight to the tachometer) who is talking to me! My boyfriend and I looked at each other and said, "Nana, what did you just say?" She got a little embarrassed thinking maybe she said something wrong or bad cause it was a tad strange to say the least but, very quietly said, "There is a man in THAT thing who is talking to me" and again she pointed to the tachometer. "Well. what is he saying to you Nana?" we asked and she said, "He is saying to tell Lee lee that he is fine", She did not know my father had passed nor did she have any clue that my father had called me "lee lee: my whole life...that has been my nickname for years in my family but she knew nothing of this. It was a very strange thing but it made Darryl and me believers for sure. Since then he has some round from time to time but not in that capacity. The BMW is long gone and I don't hear much from him any longer. My last experience was when my favorite channel on cable was acting up and going in and out. Every other station was working but that one. It finally dawned on me that I might ask my dad to fix it so I did and voila...from there on in it worked just fine. Who knows. Weird things happen all the time but for a skeptic like me these two stories were pretty neat and made me feel good. Just something that made me feel that my parents really are watching over us and that if I really need them, I can call upon them and feel they hear me whether they respond or not. Hope you enjoyed these stories...they are subtle but weird and 100% true. God bless!
Bigfoot: Is this the proof?

IT'S definitely big. It's certainly hairy. Could this mysterious beast be the
elusive Bigfoot?

Shot in snowy woods in the US state of Maine this video shows a creepy creature lurking in the treetops — and the footage has taken the internet by storm.

Speculation is rife about the identity of the fearsome animal.
It has been likened to a monkey and even a bear. But many of the 50,000 people who have already watched the clip are convinced it could be the legendary sasquatch.

The video was posted on YouTube by American user webtech88 five days ago.

A woman can be heard telling a child to look at "the bear" in the branches.

But the terrified kid tearfully replies: "I don't like bears."

Although the cameraman can be heard whistling to attract the animal, it sits silently in the tree.

It is only when they see the front of the animal the group realize it might not be a bear.

The confused woman says: "I see an ape." While the cameraman agrees: "It does look like a monkey."

Maine, in the north east of the country, has had a number of Bigfoot sightings over the years.

A Visitor In The Night
By Deeannah I believe the story I'm about to share with you was the catalyst for all of the experiences I've had since this happened. I guess it opened my mind just enough to make me aware of things we cannot always explain because to this day I still have things happen. It was mid April 1998 and my son and I were staying with my parents at their home in Valparaiso while my husband was going through Basic Training. None of us had ever had an encounter in the house up to this point, that we had acknowledged anyway. I still go to sleep with the tv going as I have done since I was a kid, and usually my mom would come check on me and turn it off. She still does to this day even though I'm in my thirties and am rarely home. I was sleeping good this particular night. I remember waking up to the feeling of
someone sitting at the foot of my bed and I could feel the pressure on my lower legs and feet. When I looked up I thought it was just my mom sitting there looking at me to make sure I was ok. I still have really bad Asthma. It didn't really faze me and I went on back to sleep. When I woke up in the morning my tv was still going. I thought that was kind of odd because my mom came in to check on me and didn't turn it off like she usually does. I walked back to her and my dad's room and found my mom blowdrying her hair. I asked her if I could talk to her a minute so she stopped working on her hair and asked me if something was wrong. I then looked at her and asked why had she come into my room and sat at the foot of my bed looking at me and then left my tv on. She looked like a deer caught in the headlights, and asked me what on earth was I talking about. So I asked again, and she said that she hadn't come in my room all night.

We went back and forth for a few minutes until my dad woke up and asked what we were talking about. So I asked him if he had come into my room and he also said no. I had this chill come over me and I told them both to quit messing with me and tell me the truth. They both denied coming in and we all knew that it wasn't my son since he was only 15 months old and still slept in his crib without knowing how to climb down.

My parent's started to get a little worried seeing as how I was clearly freaked out. My mom asked me what all I remembered and if I could tell her exactly what I saw. I started telling them both what I could recall, and then it hit me. I had opened my eyes and saw someone sitting at the foot of my bed looking at me, but it didn't scare me at the time. I also recalled that I could see my tv on THROUGH the person sitting on my bed. The best way I could describe it was that it looked at me in a way that was like someone tending to an ill child or a patient. It was in no way menacing. I really couldn't make out many facial features since I only saw it for a couple of seconds and I was woke up from a sound sleep.

Both of my parent's looked panicked as I told them what I remembered, and even went and checked all the doors and such to be sure no one had gotten in the house. BUT if that would've been the case why on earth would someone come sit on my bed and look at me and do nothing else?!?! I still don't know whose ghost it was but I like to think that it was one of my close relatives who had passed on just coming in to check on me now that my husband was gone. Thinking of it that way makes it a little less creepy for me.

A Room Full of Shadow People
by Spooky

This happened when I was about 8 years old so it would have been around 1977. A friend of my brother's had just been killed in a car accident and I was having a nightmare about her. I awoke and was startled to find people standing in my room.

There were two beds, mine and my older sister's. I looked over at my sister and saw who I thought was her sitting on her bed and her elbows were on the little table next to her bed and her hands were closed into fists and she had her chin propped on them. I could see she had a braid on each side of her head and I remember my sister had gone to bed with two ponytails, not braids. I kept calling out to her, but she didn't answer.

There was also a person in the middle of the room, another one leaning over me and one by the window. There was also one in my doorway, blocking it. They all just stood there motionless looking like 3-D shadows. They had dimensions, only they were solid black.

I slid off of my bed to avoid touching the one leaning over me and went around the one in the middle of the room to stand at the foot of my sister's bed, which was near the window and another shadow person. I could see my sister lying next to this "thing" that I thought was her. I could see an impression on the bed where the thing was sitting, like it had weight to it.

That was it for me, I closed my eyes and ran past all the shadow people to my parents' room and when we came back, there was only my sister sleeping in there. I had never heard of shadow people at that time, but that is what I called them, so the first time I heard about shadow people in books or online, I wondered if anyone had ever experienced what I did.

But so far, all that I have read or heard about on talk radio, no story is like mine. Usually people see them out of the corner of their eye or moving across the room, but never just standing like mannequins. It was almost like I was in another place and time was standing still. But why was one on my sister's bed, and why did it almost look like her? Another weird thing was, my sister usually did have braids in her hair because she liked the way it made her hair look when she took them out. But this night she didn't. It was almost as if it was trying to look like her.
Haunted Cemetery
by ritad

While in high school a few people got together and started spending all their time visiting haunted places in the area. Two of us are now telling others about what we have seen. There is a cemetery in a near-by town (for the safety of others, we will not tell names because the neighbors like to chase people out with guns). It is the only place that all of us agree is truly haunted. To clarify things, there were about 30 of our friends involved. However, we will not discuss what they claim to have happened while we were not there because we do not know that it happened. We will tell you a few of the things that have happened to us over the past 3 years. The first time we went to this place was Halloween night (I know it's corny, but it's true).

Anyway, one of us went into the cemetery while the other one waited in the car with a friend. While in the cemetery, she did not see anything. However, she smelled an overpowering odor that smelled of, as she says, death. She also felt the feeling of death in the air. It does not seem out of the ordinary, true. But never since has the smell or feeling been present. While she was in the cemetery, the ones in the car saw a man. I was the one in the car, who is now typing this. The other is helping me recall the events as I type. Nothing much happened to her after that. However, I went back many more times. I have witnessed a "ghost fog" that followed me and a few other friends, heard voices that came from nobody, seen the shadowy figures that followed us around, seen people take on a change of sorts in their personality, and once a change in their physical appearance (A friend suddenly either got a very bad case of dry eyes or his eyes glow red naturally sometimes). I know it all sounds crazy or like a story, but there a too many of us that have witnessed strange things to not have the opinion that this is one truly haunted cemetery!
